John Collier retired from Prince William County, VA in 2012. His last position was Chief Deputy Sheriff, which he held for 8 years, after rising through the ranks with the County Police beginning in 1975.
John worked on several important concepts to advance the quality of law enforcement in America including, but not limited to, Critical Incident Stress Management, the AMBER Alert system, School Violence response (now known as Active Shooter Response), and Hostage Negotiation. This experience has provided John with opportunities to understand the importance of listening, team building, and resolving problems to achieve goals.
John became a licensed REALTOR® in early 2013 after his move to Myrtle Beach in order to continue to help people- utilizing the same skill set of listening, teamwork, and problem solving. His success in the business has added to his ability to achieve continuously positive results for his clients. John has now joined the Beach Realty Group to move forward in the pursuit of helping people find the perfect home in the Grande Strand area.
