Brookgate is the oldest neighborhood with single family homes in the Forestbrook area of Myrtle Beach. The homes in the Brookgate community has homes over 35 years in age which is some of the oldest homes in this section of Horry County. Other places that you find homes of this age are usually close to the coast or in Conway. Up until the last 10 years, Brookgate was one of the only communities in this section of Myrtle Beach, and now because of the age and condition of the homes in Brookgate, buyers can find some of the least expensive homes on the real estate market. Some of the newer communities in the Forestbrook area are Foxhorn and Turtle Cove. Most of these communities come with a premium based on newer construction.
Brookgate also offers a clubhouse and pool facilities that homeowners can join a membership to, or they can simply pay a minimal HOA fee for being a property owner. Also owning a home in Brookgate often constitutes the owner having a larger home site, less restrictions and many of the older homes offer larger bedrooms than you find in many of the tract communities of today. There are many reasons to consider an older, larger and more thought out floor plan of the homes of Brookgate. For more information call Beach Realty Group.
